The Black Student Union led the call to remove the rock
I wonder what would happen if a group of white students decided to form a "White Student Union"?
That's not true...I know damn well what would happen.

Racism existed at some point in the past at UW, therefore the entire UW must be removed. Im sure at some point a racist has walked through each of the academic halls of that university and therefore the university should be leveled. Nice knowing ya Badgers.
I mean, when you put it like that. Crap.
Even Camp Randall Stadium must go. Sure, it was once a training facility for the Union Army. But let’s be honest, lots of Union soldiers were racist too. So I guess it’s wrecking ball time.

We should begin seeing crime start to fall immediately.

Rick Perry had this same identification when being questioned for energy secretary. Apparently he hunted at a ranch that had an out cropping with the same nick name

The boulder was referred to as a “n——-head” — a commonly used expression in the 1920s to describe any large dark rock — at least once in a 1925 Wisconsin State Journal story.
Growing up in Wisconsin, I never heard this term and I have some pretty racist family member
I heard the term back in the 80's. From people that were in their 70's and 80's at the time. However it was a reference to blackheads, like on a persons face, not rocks.
This is just comical as the only reference using that name is way back in the 1920's. This is a good example of trying to find something to be enraged about. Typical behavior at the Berkeley of the Midwest.

Even the Taliban and ISIS don't tear down or remove rocks. Congrats American leftists on being the most intolerant faction of people on Earth.

So the rock didn’t have any tie to actual racism, it was just called something racist one time by a random journalist a century ago?
Am I missing something?

The lowest of society crave collectivism, because they are incapable of surviving as an individualist. Collectivism attracts life's losers and idiots.
I'm perfectly happy not being tied to a bunch of retards.

Removing the giant rock feels like a bit much.
Do people still call it n*****head?

I finally know why East Kleberg Point in Baffin Bay is called what this rock has been called in the past. There are a bunch of rocks off this point. I always looked at maps and tried to see why it used to be called n_____ head but now I know it is the rocks in the water that gave it its old name.

Why not change it to EverythingYouLoveAboutNewOrleansHead?
