Well, what do they do for "Women's Week"? If they do the same thing, I don't see the problem. It's silly to me, but whatever.

We used to have slave day, and the girls were auctioned off to raise funds for whatever project the student council had.
It was lots of fun, totally degrading, but that was part of it and the girls didn't complain since they were getting attention.

With society today this will be a huge story and this will no longer be allowed due to outside pressure.
Logic goes like this:
So they gave the men free very unhealthy food and they allowed them to skip part of there education. I do not know how early of a dismissal it was if they truly did miss out.
But women should feel disrespected they were not given the same opportunity to negatively impact there life.
Obviously this small instance alone is not going to drastically negatively impact their life. But that to me is how media in this instance framed the issue.
