I never us USPS, pay whatever it costs. Saves you in the long run.

Youse guys need a calendar: one month.
What day is a bill sent and what day is it due? What day do you expect to get it? The phone number of the sender and your account number. And the address you need to send the check to (or routing number if you pay by electronics.
You need this for every bill that gets paid monthly.
You need a different calendar for the yearly stuff: insurance, property taxes, children's school fees.
I know these things not because I'm smart, but because I lived in NOLA and had more than fifteen utility bill each month for properties in three states.
Currently it takes any bill seven days to get to me. This month it's taken nine to ten.
And the first cart tire my husband ordered back in October still hasn't shown up although its replacement arrived in three days.

It has really sucked this year. The Baton Rouge distribution center seems to be the problem.
I say this while understanding that we should have ordered things earlier and that overall it’s still an amazing logistics miracle that so many things are delivered so quickly.

If it's going to be close, you almost have to go with Amazon Prime to give yourself a fighting chance.
They certainly aren't airtight but they're a lot more reliable than USPS imo.

I had a package come from mainland China via DHL to the PO on constitution in BR. They fricking lost it delivering it 5 minutes away to my office on Corporate blvd.
