Now, if it comes back, can we say this god is an a-hole or is it just "Mysterious Ways?"

What a sad, sad way to live and think.

I TRULY feel sorry for you.

So you just have to hit the god/jesus lottery to get help from these all-powerful beings? Playing god can have some pretty grave fricking consequences I guess. Holy shite.

I 1,000,000,000% know there isn't some magic fricking puppet master in the sky controlling a very small portion of the earth's population. I know that because I'm not a lunatic.

The concept of faith seems to be lost on you.

Riiiiiight. The ole "you just gotta have faith" bit. Tell you what, get diagnosed with a rapidly spreading cancer and see what helps you faster: faith or the fricking medical team that will do everything in their power to help you using all of the skills learned in their science classes.

Color me skeptical. Theres always a scientific reason or explanation behind these things. Squibs just like to think its the prayers.

lol.

Why are you so angry?

Did I strike a nerve?

where in any of my posts did I say prayer should substitute seeing a doctor and following their orders?

Hint: (I didn't)

I am always amused by the arrogance on the part of the "just a coincidence" crowd. Yeah, it may be. It also may be that prayer actually helped.

Jesus be like

"Hello innocent child! Have some rare cancer! Oh dear, it doesn't seem like enough friends and family prayed for you so I'm going to have to kill you now. LOLLERSKATEZ!!!!"

Agree but not enough praise
If we talking about fictional characters, SuperMan >>>>>>> Jesus. Jesus is just a bastard child who grew up to be a carpenter.

if you talk to any nurses who work in emergency rooms, and they will tell you stories of miracles, and yes, doctors and nurses do believe in them.

They don't know who did it, but something/some one did.

I'm a trauma nurse and have seen some things happen, both good & bad, that seem not to have adequate explanations. Do I believe things not yet explainable by today's society happen? Yes. Do I believe it's "God?" No. Quit believing when my 7 month old died. And if he does exist? I want absolutely NOTHING to do with a "God" that would cause/allow my son to die and the avalanche of devastation that occurred bc of it.

And for those "I'll keep praying for you" and "sometimes we don't understand his plan" ppl...save it. I really don't care to hear it.

My step mom died of brain cancer... dad was a preacher, pretty sure he did a fair amount of praying. Even had his college roommate at uf and seminary praying, and his assorted family. Roommate's last name was tebow. If they couldn't cure it, probably not a realistic cause of this girl's tumor going away.

This is the post that most sums up my feelings on this horse shite.

First, I'm sorry about your son. the rest of your post sums up my feelings quite well.

I want nothing to do with the god who will save my kid if i pray enough, and kill him if i don't.

To him, I say, frick you.

Why is is so selective in who he heals or saves the life of? And if he got that much power. How hard would it have been for him to make KC cover against SD Thursday night when I asked?

I prefer to waste my time here...not in a church.

I'm good with that. You should be good with that, too.

I believe you just hate your creator because he didn’t shape our world the way you think it should be. Nobody lashes out at something they don’t even believe in with as much venom as you just did unless they feel jilted. You just hate God. The shadow of darkness holds sway over your soul right now. Satan has convinced you that you are your own God and has separated you from your true creator. And he revels in that victory.
