Hopefully getting rid of F King will improve that ranking in a few years.

The University of California system is always ridiculously overrated in this ranking methodology. UC Irvine, Santa Barbara, San Diego, and Davis all being ranked 30-39 is a joke and hurts the credibility of the entire list.

A lot of the rankings are generally job placement and student scores. The actual education one receives is difficult to judge, but when you are in a large state with good job opportunities for Fortune 500s then it’s easy to get high rankings.

I’ve realized more and more going to a school with a good location to jobs you are interested in should be one of the top criteria for students, factoring in cost to a degree obviously.

Princeton surpassed Harvard? Wow. Must be because anyone who isn't white or conservative can get into that university these days.

Holy shite, that is a massive jump in tuition. I understand that out of state tuition is more at all schools, but, are they all nearly 3 1/2 times the in-state tuition? That seems crazy high. It is UC systems, so it wouldn't shock me to find out that it is an extreme outlier though.

I haven't had to concern myself with tuition in almost 15 years so I realize I'm not in the loop. But OOS students did not pay over 3 times the amount of in-state kids back then.

ETA: Auburn cracks the top 100 at #97.

LSU is ranked higher than Loyola. Am I reading that correctly?

My wife (no pics) went to Columbia. She left there with a degree and a case of chronic anxiety. The pressure is unrelenting and they don't like Southerners.

What battle?

I could see continue resentment between Hispanics and blacks but not Asians. Not that Asians get along great with blacks but Asians usually just take it.

Friend,

Can you help me find Delgado and UNO? These lists are notoriously inaccurate. Nonetheless, I enjoy reading lists and rankings, wrong though they may be.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

P.S. Glad to see a Louisiana school crack the top 10. Congratulations to Natchitoches, the Cambridge of the Crossroads.

Asians are starting to speak up. They feel they're being discriminated against. There's a lot of lawsuits going on right now.

I remember LSU use to easily be in the top 100 in the 1990's. Maybe around the #75 mark.

Friend,

I can give them to you now.

10. ULL
9. Louisiana College
8. Xavier
7. Louisiana Tech
6. Centenary
5. Loyola
4. Tulane
3. LSU
2. UNO
1. Delgado Community College

I base these rankings entirely on my own experiences with them and through conversations and experiences with their graduates.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

I will never get the Tulane hype. I spent 3 years at Tulane before finishing at LSU. Spent three times the money for the three years I was at Tulane. Instruction was very similar.

Friend,

The instruction at Tulane is inferior to that at Delgado. Tulane's academic resources are also a farce. Anyone who spent any significant time in Stern Hall can attest to this statement. If you could bring together the teachers at Delgado with the facilities at LSU, you'd have a Top 10 world university.

TulaneLSU
