i'd bet this one was shot down with 20mm

probably coming out of the annual training allotment anyway, a retired hornet pilot said the nearly stationary balloons are a serious fod risk shooting them with 20mm.

Someone linked a YT vid of a former F-16 pilot who went into detail why the proximity warhead on the Aim9 was a better for this job.
Albeit obviously not the cheaper solution

Three balloons, like the ones that was shot down over Myrtle Beach, flew across the US during Trumps time in office but they did nothing and kept it a secret.
Biden doesn't have property in China and his daughter doesn't have 100 patents in China like the former president but go ahead and act like Biden is friendly with China and will let them walk right into the country. You guys have been brainwashed by good old soviet style propaganda.
