Agreed. The courts are stacked against men.

Now, one wonders, is this the result of misguided policy and good intentions? Or is there a systemic effort to denigrate and eliminate strong, middle-class nuclear family units?

I've smoked too much pot and talked to too many machine elves to think that the current situation is by accident.

One of my buddies I grew up with was Half Persian. We was a few years older and an Aggie as well, so he kinda showed me the ropes around campus and off. We would go to Persian parties at different schools from time to time, and got damn... Them Persian wimmen is fine!

Y'all can get married now, it's okay, you don't have to use euphemisms.

A. Women becoming less dependent on men.

B. Men becoming more wary of marriage because they generally get screwed in the courts if it doesn't work out.

C. The biggest one of course is that religious dogma is losing influence over young minds, because of A and B and because young people aren't as stupid as their parents.

I dated a half Persian/half Polish gal back in college. Probably the best looking woman I've ever been with but was dumber than a mongoloid Helen Keller. A real shame.

Even if religious dogma is not objectively true, pretending that it is (even if only for the purpose of the sacrament of marriage) leads to much more positive results than wandering hedonism.

-US women are impossible to satisfy due to TV expectations

-US women are more independent, less needy for marriage

-US traditional family is constantly under attack

-people are getting married later due to job market/student loans etc.

-getting married later probably decreases chances of having kids

WTF?

You sure in the hell don't have to be married to procreate.

Educated women are more independent by choice.

This.

Most of the time on a college campus you can't even talk to a girl at a bar. You're either too nice and come across as sexist because women are so independent now. Or, you're a creepy rapist. There is no in between anymore thanks to the feminazi movement.

You don't, certainly. I should have added 'legitimate'

2 people can have children and raise them and never get married. It doesn't make those kids any less legitimate than any other.

I don't deny this. But a legal and spiritual binding contract makes it much less likely that one of the parties can default, which is the case in common law marriages.

This is becoming more common. People are starting to realize that they can have a family without the complicated mess that comes with marriage.

You mean facebook and social media? Newer generations are going to grow up with 30% of the their lives spent taking selfies on snap chat.
