Sorry, I’ve been waiting for some real progress to update.
J’s ekg finally came back with “good enough” results. His heart function has now changed from severe to mild. This means they were able to perform the MRI today at noon and expect it to take 4-6 hours because if the number of images needed to determine if and how they will be able to remove the mass from his brain now that his situation is more stable. The plan is to remove the ventilator tube after the MRI is complete.
My first prayer is that this mass has somehow completely disappeared. Short of that miracle, I pray that the mass is in position to be easily removed. We will know more tonight after the mri images are reviewed.
Please keep him in your prayers!

J will have surgery this morning at 7:30 am to remove the mass from his brain! Surgery is expected to last about 8 hours.
Please pray his heart and body stay strong throughout the surgery, for his complete recovery, for the surgeon, nurses and all medical staff attending him, that they are able to remove the entire mass and for peace and comfort for his parents and siblings.
Thanks, again, for your continued thoughts and prayers. They uplift us all.

As I’m sure he’s being prepped for surgery at this time I pray for him and the doctors and team who will work on him. May god guide their hands in a skillful way. May god hold this young man in close watching and provide guardianship for his family.
