Delay due to adverse weather conditions... Always with ups. They suck along with most of the drivers. We had two packages delivered nda the other day, and the driver could only give us one of them because the other one was buried in the mess in his truck.

I was a driver for 11 years, a supervisor and a manager. I trained my own kids the same way and then some

ALPA was garbage to me when I was at a regional airline, I guess our dues weren’t enough to get their attention. ALPA back in the day sold their souls for some short term gains to create the crappy “regional airline” structure that we have today that basically creates 2 tiers of pilots that work for completely different wage structures while flying the same passengers on domestic and some international routes. While I’d love to work for a major airline and have the pay and protection that you’ve got you can’t deny that ALPA cares about some more then others. Spirit was left hanging forever and then got a shitty deal that ALPA sold them as industry-standard (when it obviously wasn’t) and frontier has been getting gangbanged by frontier and the NMB for years now and ALPA isn’t doing shite about it except for putting up a couple of billboards.
ALPA is great for you because you’re at the top of the heap, there are a lot of people in the airline industry that think otherwise.
