In relation to this, I would highly recommend reading The Throne of Saturn written by Allen Drury in 1971 if you can find a copy. The man could apparently see into the future.

What people are concerned about is Marxist diversity for diversity’s sake, instead of the meritocracy that leads to optimal outcomes instead of suboptimal outcomes up-to-and-including people dying.

Maybe I'm crazy but I thought they were already pretty diverse. NASA has had and has a good bit of Black astronauts.
