Downvote for the over abundance of line spacing in a post

Is inland Washington near the Montana border really the PNW though?

Yes. Western Montana is part of the PNW too.

The name “Pacific Northwest” came to be to differentiate itself from the old Northwest (Chicago, Minnesota, etc.)

Whoooole lotta people in this thread aren’t really familiar with Spokane Its nickname is Spokompton btw

Spokompton, SpokVegas, Spok(insert edgy name here to make our tame city seem more wild than it really is).

Spokane is a kitten. Its worst neighborhoods would be middle of the road in many cities.

Good. Not all of us find I necessary to spend a lot of time in big metros.

My brother and sis in law live in the tri cities and spend about a weekend every two months in Seattle

That says more about how shitty those cities are than it does about how safe Spokane is.

Charleston was a friendly city when I lived there several years ago.

I was saying the worst neighborhoods in Spokane would be middle of the road in many American cities. Spokane isn’t shitty. It’s far from it. Spokane is incredibly safe, unless you are an older model Honda.

I have family in Spokane so I’m good with that. Plus the surrounding area is beautiful especially in the Idaho panhandle

Yeah. Like most of the pnw, property crime is a much bigger problem than violent crime.

would jump at the chance to live in the PNW.

it's "high desert".

Its nothing like Seattle or Portland. Little rain.
Cold in.winter. Snows

Culturally is not part of eco-topia.

Don't come to Barksdale depending on your rank then. I'm a 2a7x3 .. go to Charleston or Dover.

Come join the PNW crew (military and OT Ballers).

We are on the other side of the state but love it up here. Spokane is a great town.

Charleston fun city and a lot of history. If you are single the ratio is 9 to 1 so a lot of women.
