I've always wondered why that's the case too. Probably because its west.

Losing 5-6 minutes of daylight a day now.

Looked at our forecast, should be getting some snow this Saturday.

Just a Sony A7 III w/85mm f1.8 prime. Just picked it up recently, still figuring it out. Its fantastic at low light though.

The key is to live close enough to it but not in it.

Me, I'd take snow over the 8 months of humidity you deal with.

Looked like it was going to dump about noon here but alas, lee side of the divide sinking air holds it off till the colder air arrives.

Still expect a solid inch of snow here. Just an appetizer of winter for me though, with temps returning to the 50/20 range next week.

We got just a tiny bit in CO...at least down here at 6,000 ft. Up in the high country it's been snowing for a week or so. I look forward to the cooler weather but damn my skin hates the dryness.

Yeah, frick an outside grow at that level without less cloud coverage year round.

Makes California ideal in lots of ways if you're a fan of sunlight
