it's really 3 groups of people who create all of this insanity. there is likely lots of overlap (esp between 2 and 3)
1. people with legitimate mental disorders
2. people who grew up as social outcasts, who are attempting a power grab to make their antisocial behavior the norm
3. people who feel like they have to find something to fight and in the age of abundance, there isn't much rational to fight for

absolutely. this is a function of our RIDICULOUS abundance and standard of living. that's the whole "first world problems" meme
our poor people have shelter, are fat, usually have cars, cell phones, color tv, cable, etc...and i mean like that phone is often the same phone rich moviestars use (iphones are iphones are iphones). 50 years ago it was rare for middle class people to fly. now the poor and rich enjoy teh exact same luxury goods. think about the gap 100 years ago. 200 years ago.

another question about SJWs....how many of them actually have a REAL job with a hard skill?
how many plumbers or carpenters or electricians do you thing are SJWs?
I just have this visualization of the typical SJW being a barista at some independent coffee shop or waiting tables at some small trendy restarurant

That's the thing. They don't. They're at some $60k+ a year small liberal arts school, HS, or a job where they're not important. They'll never really do anything about whatever they're defending because they're quitters and losers who use "ism"s as an excuse for their shortcomings. Which are solely their fault. They are naive, sheltered and don't contribute anything productive to society. Really, a sign of the downfall of America.

Deal is, they'll probably just claim disability since their self-diagnosed mental illness just triggers them too much in the real world...
(And I say this as someone officially diagnosed with anxiety disorder who manages to function normally.)

Just so people know, that NUS Women's Campaign thing is a conference where something like 600 representatives from various universities in the UK meet to discuss what their feminist studies or whatever should focus on for the next year. One of their proposals for the year is to make gay white men stop stealing black women’s culture. Seriously.
