Why is it out of the realm of possibilities that she made some innocent mistakes while still making some unacceptable mistakes and therefore the manslaughter?

it isn't, it's just that it is still a crime and DPD is bending over backwards to avoid treating her like a criminal

only reason it’s really a story is that she was a cop.

nope, it's because she's a cop that committed a criminal act and she is not being treated as such

Or there is the possibility that they know the world is watching and they want to dot every i and cross every t so they don’t bungle the case. Can you imagine if she got off on a paperwork related technicality? What people refuse to grasp is that this person isn’t going anywhere (unlike a gang banger who may flee the state) and 24 to 72 hours delay to fully investigate doesn’t matter.

This will work out well, I predict...

Clearly you don't understand the difference between probable cause for arrest and actually being charged. And why should i believe she isn't gonna flee? She had no problem scraping together 300k to buy her temporary freedom.

I was hoping that it was going to be a black cop, things are probably going to get pretty ugly around Dallas, and local LE is making it worse

btw, she's supposed to be a trained LEO, if she would have been on the job, I don't think buss a cap and ask questions later would have been the proper protocol, could be wrong though, maybe she should be arrested just for being a dumbass

This guy wasn’t black though. He was St. Lucian and made something of his life. He won’t count for the BLM movement.

Why would she not just let him close the door and her call for backup

Why wouldn't she just look at the number on the fricking door like everyone else when the key didn't work?

dude, what do you think the route was that the slave traders took to get here? how do you think those Caribbean islands got populated with people of color

seems to be a common trait among most islanders, it's our blacks that will never be appeased, will forever be victims, and will forever be demanding restitution, unfortunately, those same people only see the color of his skin, therefore outrage is justified

I meant that he’s not american. So the average black man in America would have very little in common with him other than skin color. St Lucia is very poor so he likely grew up very poor without things like EBT or SNAP. He clearly worked hard to make his life better.

I am not defending this officer at all. However, i have tried to go in the wrong apartment before. Different floor, but the same apartment stacked below mine. Since most buildings are stacked, every hallway is the same. Luckily the door was locked and i then looked at the number and realized i made a mistake.

Also, I’ve had a few people walk into my place over the years during the day time thinking my place was there own. Yes i know, i should lock my door.

Do you just think any island in the Caribbean is Hispanic? St Lucia is French/African. It’s a bunch of creoles.
