According to the USGS thousands of fatalities are expected.

You have to actually be building things for stricter building codes to matter. Haiti barely has money to survive. They don't even have trees on their part of the island anymore.

This could be a legit question. How much recovery was actually made since the last one? I kind of doubt more than 50% of the donations made it to the street level there.
