Let us not forget that we are still in phase 1. It is extremely important to keep social distancing and keep those most at risk away from others (unless protesting, rules don’t apply). Will be interesting to see any justification for not opening up fully today.

ETA: we enter phase 2 Friday. He started off the press conference by warning us a hurricane may hit us this coming weekend.

You are allowed to ignore social distancing regulations if you burn at least one public building

Just open everything back 100% and admit that we overreacted as a country.

Yes, we are in phase 1, the duration of 21 days ends Friday
The big thing is if he will do 14 days or 21 days between phases 2 & 3

Phase 2 should begin on Friday June 5th...here's what to expect.
quote:
Under White House guidelines Phase 2 of reopening would allow the reopening of schools and organized youth activities, such as day cares and camps. Bars would also be allowed to reopen, but with diminished standing-room occupancy.
It's also expected that occupancy limits will be raised, but unclear by how much. While Louisiana is limiting occupancy based on a percentage of capacity, the White House guidelines say that public gatherings should not have more than 50 people present if social distancing isn't possible..
The strict distancing guidelines placed on larger venues such as sit-down dining, movie theaters, sporting venues and places of worship can be relaxed further to "operate under moderate physical distancing protocols."
Workers are encouraged to continue working remotely whenever possible and feasible, and non-essential travel can resume.

Don't you watch the news? COVID isn't a thing anymore. Racism rules the day bud.
