I am very curious to how much this is going to cost ITC just in product damage.

Probably 20-30 million in product losses.
If they were storing some good shite there, like alkylate, iso-octane or low sulfur type of stuff, would push that number higher.
This is also provided no other tanks go up in flames.

By this afternoon, plume will stretch well north of Brenham and a good ways towards College Station. That is insane.

Just keep it near 10 and south and I am fine. Looks crazy driving south in kingwood and seeing it from a distance.

We didnt stay at the jobsite too long this morning. Lot of chatter on the CIMA radio about the dike walls so we called it a day. Fell back to a site a little farther from the fire

Yep...I don't know how they are going to keep the rest of that battery from going up, at some point the integrity of those tanks will fail, and any product that is left in the tanks will flood that containment area.

If you're not watching live feeds, the fire has gotten significantly larger within the last 15 minutes and cars are streaming down Battleground Rd away from ITC (guess it's folks from Total, Akzonobel, Vopac getting the frick out of dodge).

I was assuming the containment area was already flooded, not the case? I agree, I think they'll end up losing all 15 in that area.

You can see the smoke intensify on radar this morning too. Not a bad proxy to check how intense it's burning and the direction the smoke is going.

There is another tank that caught fire that contains Pyrolysis Gasoline, which contains benzene. Not good
