answering how butane was injected at ITC:
I don't know for certain but I will make the assumption that it's directly from truck/railcar/barge thru pipeline into the tank. Otherwise, if they stored it onsite in a vessel with greater than 10,000 lbs it would be a Process Safety Management (PSM) covered process and trigger both PSM/RMP.

I know they have a truck rack and a ship dock that are designated for butane. Had to take their HASC classes in January.

The only ITC designated lines that travel there carry crude oil

Anyone checked on MrLSU? Wondering if he’s still surviving this thing with the air quality issues in Mobile, Alabama

Looking from Southwest Houston, most of the sky cleared up this evening but it's distinctly going East to West roughly along the I-10 corridor, it looks. Pretty stark contrast scanning from the East and North over to the West wear there's a nice clear sunset.

TCEQ, especially for this region (Houston) is generally more harsh than EPA on these things. I wonder if ITP has started filling out their STEERS yet...

Yes they have submitted the Initial Report. Incident #304871 in the TCEQ STEERS. Not much information as it is the Initial. The Final will be interesting.

I'm impressed theyve managed to keep the tanks from failing. That fire is putting out some heat.

Side note, got the location for work tomorrow and it's about a mile from the ITC facility. Should get some pretty solid pictures if the winds keep blowing west
