Family of the kids asked for 10 year sentence, which the judge gave and suspended all of it. He got house arrest. He undoubtedly left because he was drunk and got away with it.
He comes from a very wealthy family. The kids are still struggling with surgeries.

not sure but definitely well off. moral of the story is he bailed, lawyered up, and turned himself in sober. pay some restitution and good as new minus the kids and families lives he ruined
