No, there is an area where they were it's 50 miles of nothing. It's been said you can get away murder joking or not. It's something like area something I wish I knew the name. Saw it earlier.

Is he “missing” or are his “whereabouts unknown” because those are two different things.
The former suggests “we had him and then lost him” while the latter suggests “we were never keeping track of him”

Or maybe they're both on the run after commiting a serious crime, And he's meeting up with her to begin their new life in Cuba or something.

apparently, the north port pd took the word of the family/lawyer that he was in the home. since he had not been charged with a crime, they didn't bother to keep an eye on him.
