I think it is clear now that these two somehow, some way got intertwined with the Murdaugh clan in South Carolina.

That is the only thing that makes sense at this point.

Police also didn't realize that their prime suspect was gone from his house for 3 days, apparently.

How did the parents not know? Seems fishy.
He’s either on the run now or about to off himself

This version of "he hasn't been seen since Tuesday" has his lawyer as its source.

I’m fearful that BL has gone off to kill himself which will make finding GP more difficult or impossible. His parents called the cops to tell them what they know.

his lawyer has released several statements this week...but the police actually spoke with his parents this evening, and a missing persons report was filed...police also removed items from the home that they thought might help them locate BL.

Hasn’t he released some statements since Tuesday which is when BL supposedly disappeared? How was he releasing statements when his client was gone

No, there is an area where they were it's 50 miles of nothing. It's been said you can get away murder joking or not. It's something like area something I wish I knew the name. Saw it earlier.

Zone of Death. I learned about it last night. Lots on the Google. Basically a loophole about being tried by peers, but there are no peers that live out there.

They apparently thought he was located in the house and weren't worried about him leaving because he's not the primary suspect in their eyes. I don't think he's the main suspect at this point. I'm slowly turning towards the drug angle and something went wrong and her body is out in the desert and while he was strung out he freaked out and just left

Many people are wondering why Mr. Laundrie would not make a statement or speak with law enforcement in the face of Ms. Petito's absence. In my experience, intimate partners are often the first person law enforcement focuses their attention on in cases like this and the warning that 'any statement made will be used against you' is true, regardless of whether my client had anything to do with Ms. Petito's disappearance. As such, on the advice of counsel Mr. Laundrie is not speaking on this matter.

this was his statement from wednesday...doesn't sound to me like he didn't know where his client was.

Is there any evidence that either were using drugs or is this another wild conjecture?

I've heard that the police chief announced they found something in the van but they are not sure whose or if it's significant yet and that sounds like drugs to me. Definitely doesn't sound like a murder weapon

It's conjecture but probably pretty close to the truth based on their age and wanting to be vanlife people.
