thought he would be sniffing around the Laundrie's house after we clearly saw the mysterious hand reach up from underground and grab something from mom in the garden.
What?

If so, you could be right, what are the chances the parents get charged with something?
They have to know something.
Is there anything within the law to make them talk?
No, there's nothing to make them talk, especially if they actually helped him. In that case, they can plead the 5th However, if the police find evidence they assisted him once a warrant for his arrest was issued, they could be charged with aiding and abetting after the fact and/or harboring a fugitive depending upon the circumstances. They could also be charged with obstruction if they did anything else to hinder him being found. If they simply just know where he is but haven't actually assisted him in evading arrest, then there's nothing they can be charged with legally more than likely.

And even if he did off himself while chest deep in a swamp he would still need to get a little lucky to not be found.
It's actually pretty difficult to find bodies in a swamp if they've been there for any length of time as a dead body won't last very long with all the different animals that would eat and destroy a carcass. Not to mention finding a dead body in the middle of a swamp can be like finding a needle in a haystack when the search area is so big. Plenty of dead bodies are never found, so I'm not sure why you think it's highly unlikely. I think it's honestly more unlikely he'd be on the run this long without ever being confirmed as seen by anyone.

Why news coverage of the fact that he was spotted at the Cracker Barrel in Farragut TN last week? He bought blueberry waffles with a prepaid card and paid cash for lemon drops. FBI came to the location, reviewed security footage and confirmed that it was him.
Source. I know an employee that was there when it happened.

If the FBI had actually confirmed he was seen at a Cracker Barrel in Knoxville then there would be news about that. I don't see anything anywhere saying that. There have also been alleged sightings in Mexico, Canada, North Carolina, Alabama, and the Bahamas. None of those sighting are anywhere near each other

I know one of the people that was there in the restaurant when the FBI was present. Why this did not make the local news i have no idea. I'll also add, that several days before that he was "spotted" near one of the trails in the GSM. I believe that did make the news.

Don't forget the one at the Moss Point Raceway.

You honestly believe he's traveling around the south eating at cracker barrels?
He's either gator food or he's camped out at a family friend's granny suite that the fbi can't connect to the family and probably hasn't been outside since he got there.

He could have been spotted there. I don't think the FBI has confirmed any reports of him being spotted anywhere. If they believed any of the reports were credible, they wouldn't still be dumping so much time, money, and other resources into searching the reserve, particularly after the length of time they have been searching there.

I ask because I just do not understand why the FBI does not charge him with her murder.
I'm no legal expert, but can you even charge someone that has yet to be arrested?
Technically - the process goes:
- accused of an assumption of an offense -> arrest -> presentation of offenses to prosecutor -> official "charges" determined.

Then, why wouldn't they be searching that area rather than continuing the FL search?

I think the person you know is either misinformed or pulling your chain. There is no way an FBI confirmed sighting wouldn't be reported in the news given how much coverage this has gotten. If he was confirmed as being in a Knoxville Cracker Barrell, the entire search party would be in Appalachia right now and not still scouring the swamps in Florida

Do you know they aren't working on "searching" that area? If they feel they are on his tail and trying to track him down from behind, i don't think they would wan to get alert the tabloid news and let them know how close they may or may not be. You don't want to stir brian up if he thinks they aren't nearing on him.

Well sure, but add the small chance of his body being found in that exact scenario to the enormously small chance that he would even choose to go out that way and the odds of that scenario actually being what happened diminishes further.

You gotta admit, If by some miracle he found him that show would be awesome

My source is solid, ill leave it at that. Believe me, i was just as skeptical as you and I find it hard to believe that if he was actually spotted in the area then it wouldn't have been hard to catch him.
White truck, ordered 1 serving of blueberry pancakes (to go) at the store counter, was dirty and made comment about him and his wife hiking the AP Trail (was by himself only ordered food for one),said he had been traveling from Main, on their way to FL. All of this in front of the camera. Employees notified manager that he looked like Brain, manager wasn't that sure, employee said "if you don't call the cops I will" manager calls police. Police come, FBI comes, reviews footage in managers office. Confirms that it was in fact Brian. They ask to see info on the prepaid card he used, and left. That's all i know. I expected to see it on the local news and its been crickets for a week.
