I still think the most likely scenario is him becoming just another homeless person. Hiding in plain sight. Homeless are everywhere these days. He would likely look a lot different than any photo we’ve seen. His beard could be long and scraggly. His hair can be grown out, wherever he can still grow it. He can wear a hat and a facemask and be virtually impossible to recognize if he was standing right in front of you.

Not sure why everyone discredits the possibility that he could've gotten to Mexico/South America by now. He had a 3-4 day head start before authorities even knew he was missing. If we're talking about how unlikely it is for him to be able to evade an entire nation looking for him - This seems much more likely to me than him being dead.

It's only been a month. he had a shaved, balding head more or less. We're talking a maximum of an inch growth in a month. And his beard, unless he has an unusually thick beard, isn't going to grow so much to make him unrecognizable in that amount of time. Based on pictures of him, he seems to have had a pretty normal beard in the past and had probably a 4-5 day scruff in the most recent pics they have. He's pretty bald on top, so hair growth isn't going to be very substantial. Basically, there's not a whole lot IMO he could have done to alter his appearance in a month's time outside wearing a hat and glasses and using COVID masks as an advantage

I'd go a little farther to the boonies than Towsend. A lot of tourists floating the river and whatnot in Townsend. But there are plenty of places to hide in that area if that's where he is. I used to camp around there frequently and you could theoretically go days without seeing people if you wanted to.

Yeah, but I really just meant as opposed to Farragut.
Probably even easier to get lost for a while on the NC side South of the park or into North GA. Too many tourists on the TN side of the Smokies.

He would still have the dirty scruffy homeless guy thing going for him. And he’d be be getting dirtier and scruffier by the day. Hat + mask and there’s no way you would recognize him.

There aren’t waffles on the menu at all.
Prior poster notes OP said blueberry pancakes in a later post. Original post said blueberry waffles. So maybe the OP misspoke the first time.
But there isn’t a waffle on the Cracker Barrel menu.
