I wonder why BL would even come home, I don't think that's been discussed? Obviously because she was dead. But it makes you assume that his parents know a lot more than they are saying, or else what is the point of him returning to them?
But in hindsight, seems absurd to drive home and then go out camping again to hide from the police. He should have just continued his trip with "Gabby left me to go home and see my parents and I stopped talking to her".

Didn't the couple start their journey from Long Island? Was she a resident of Florida or just a visitor? The van, her van or was it jointly owned, had Florida plates. Did both the drivers have Fl licenses?
His parents moved to Florida. He moved with them. They continued dating and got engaged and she moved to Florida and lived with him and his parents.
Her brother graduated this year and they went to LI for the graduation celebration. Left from there to go out west.
Van is apparently registered in her name and ad Florida plates. Would assume both of them have Florida licenses.

I already said the fbi may be fairly confident and enough to go after him. But it’s not 100% and we don’t know what they may know.

It would be easier to go to a city and panhandle and live in a tent city right now to disappear and survive.
So you get to the Bahamas, Cuba, Mexico, etc. then what? I can't say how I'd buy food or shelter. All of this costs money, assuming the FBI is tracking his and his parents accounts.

There are a lot of former US citizens that left the country to live in the Bahamas....however, if he gets caught by some locals they will kidnap him and hold him for ransom....those natives over there dont play. If they can make a buck on anything they will do whatever..they dont GAF.

Of course I would want a DNA, and they'll take samples. But its not always necessary to determine identity.
