Hopefully she's pulling a Travis Walton and is just hiding out in the woods somewhere and in a week or so she'll miraculously appear and it's all just an elaborate ploy to get Instagram followers

I mean, I'm not saying this is true, but if drugs were involved he may not want to implicate himself in those crimes. There could also be accidental death scenarios that he doesn't want to lead to more serious charges, etc.
