Why do most of those post cards not have postage stamps? Did find them and hand deliver them, because she didnt live to mail them?

Spotty. It used to be non existent but they’ve added some towers in the last few years so it just depends on if they were by any towers.
If you’re driving through Yellowstone for instance you’ll be driving for a little while with no service then it’ll pop up with service for a few miles

another thing to note about the phone service, it isn't clear if either of them actually had a cell phone plan. it's been suggested that they only had service via any available wifi.

I don't think that anyone's blaming the police for how they handled this...just pointing out instances where things could have happened that could have led to a different outcome.

The van was spotted on 8/27 within 1000 feet of where the body was found. One could assume he was in the process of scouting a location to dump her later that evening. If he left immediately afer, he could have made that drive easily
