I'm not seeing anything in 5-6 about a text being sent to her mom on the 30th.

We've seen all sorts of reports as to Brian's whereabouts. We even have police (maybe) saying they know where he is.

I put that as a third option as them tipping their hand. I don't know what the bigger mistake would be, forgetting the last text or revealing that sort of information. Or the mom wasn't truthful. It's one of those three possibilities

ETA: I think this was done well before they started their trip.
This may not be as suspicious as it seems on the surface. If this online friend was a weird girl Gabby had never met before, we cannot take her word as gospel. Anything could have resulted in Gabby turning off location sharing. Not to mention it’s just weird to share your location with someone you’ve never met.

What Slo is pointing out is that the most recent search warrant for the hard drive says that the last text was received on 8/27. It doesn't mention the 8/30 text.

1. The LEO in the affidavit for the SW made a mistake and forgot to include the 8/30 "Yosemite" text
2. The LEO tipped their hands in the affidavit by revealing they didn't believe the 8/30 text was from her, but the 8/27 may (?)
3. The mom/reporting of the 8/30 text was incorrect, which would make this crazy case even crazier.

I'll say him moving the body (in that van at least) is very unlikely given the search warrants. I'd imagine they'd have more forensic information and it wouldn't be a simple exigent situation due to mental issues like the warrant says.
It was also suggested that they were in Victor, ID by a store owner on the 25th or 26th. He says they said they were coming from Grand Teton and were engaged and he said congrats. But they were in Spread Creek at 6pm on the 27th (Bethune video).
Question is did they leave on the 27th or stay?
Gabby's snapchat suggests they left.
But if the snapchat was fake from Brian, why would Brian send a message that would lead to her friend expecting her soon in Yellowstone?
[edit: incorrect, she was just supposed to call her friend on August 29 about meeting up, not actually meet up yet--but never called]
I think they may have left but for some reason ended up back in Spread Creek
