Unpopular opinion: She gone girl’d him and he knows he has no way to defend himself against the accusations.

Her parents, and now the country, thinking he murdered her.
I’d have myself a chat with a lawyer even if we innocently got in an argument and parted ways. Best case scenario he was the last person seen with her and they left on not ideal terms.

They may have a fight and he kicked her out the van in the middle of nowhere and started driving then possibly once he cooled down turned around to get her and couldnt find her...then he panicked and just left and headed home instead of calling the park rangers or local authorities to search for her

Assumptions:
A) the disorder they both had as listed but redacted on the police report was ADHA meaning they and had plenty the Adderall and thus he could drive the 48 hours straight home
B) "Yosemite versus Yellowstone" Is it a typo on "her" final texts to her mom ? Yosemite is 875 (15 hours) miles west of Yellowstone. There no way to get from Yosemite or Yellowstone back to Florida in 1 day.
Boyfriend got some explaining to do.

I saw the Yosemite reference and was confused about it as well. Especially when they had already left California way earlier, and were actually in the vicinity of Grand Tetons / Yellowstone.
