Twitter does compress video. I really only know this from watching storm chasers and weather photographers on the platform. They will upload a video to Twitter and it will be shite. Watch the same video on YouTube when it is uploaded there, and it is like an entirely different video.
The compression has long been griped about by people who regularly post video on Twitter. That's not even getting into the live streaming service Periscope, now called Twitter Broadcast or something similar. It dicks alot of people trying to stream on multiple platforms at the same time.

Is it proven that he flew back to Florida and then back to Wyoming?
If so, what did he do in Florida?
Was this just somebody throwing stuff at the wall to see if anything would stick?

Why is law enforcement treating Brian’s parents with kid gloves? If they claim he came back to the Florida house, freaking interrogate them to divulge what they know about Brian.

They aren't accused of any crime. I don't think the police can interrogate them. All they have to do is lawyer up anyway. This ain't East Germany and the Stasi.

It seems like his parents are the only ones confirming anything about him being in Florida. They have the van, so it's just a question of when he actually got there.
He is supposed to have helped her dad empty a storage building. (yeah, that's pretty weird)
I'm not sure I know who "somebody" is supposed to be. The cops?

Yeah, I'm not saying they don't. I'm saying that the van footage was previously compressed before the Twitter compression was also applied. Meaning the source video the uploader was working with on their iPhone was already poor quality.

I watched that video (or at least a video of theirs) a couple of days ago but didn't post then because I was behind in the thread, so it was no longer being discussed.
A couple things I noticed. First, there were so many awkward kisses. One in particular they are "dancing" on the beach and BL appeared to keep pulling her in for a kiss. It just seemed weird/forced like they were trying to convince the viewers they were madly in love.
Second, there is a point where she is sitting in the tent talking about breakfast and their plans for the day. My first thought was that her eyes looked puffy like she had just been crying. Then she says they just woke up. I brushed it off as her being tired. However, this was before I knew about the police encounter in UT.
Knowing all of that now, I'm back back thinking she had just been crying.
Just my $0.02, but that video seems even weirder now, they were clearly having problems and trying to make it seem as if they were in a great relationship.
I know, I'm not saying anything that isn't obvious now but on first watch the video was just off and now it makes a lot more sense as to why it seemed off to me.

Never talk to investigators without a lawyer directing you. If your lawyer says don't talk to them then definitely don't talk to them.

Well that's why I put a question mark.. So I guess it's all good that he is a person of interest and splits and the parents know but don't tell the cops. So since he is not charged with any crime he is free to disappear..
