After seeing all of these smoking hot chicks doing #vanlife I think I need to buy a Sprinter.

Yes, this looks like someone moving in the background in these GIFs, but why are these videos so ridiculously blurry and low resolution?
Because it's a Samsquanch.

I've dealt with a few. They like to get a lot of freebies.
Most see it as a great way to travel and get people to sponsor you buy letting you do a lot of stuff for free. Used to be money it it, now it's simply a fad that is overly saturated.

wyd? if she was a Youtuber, Insta influencer, etc., what kind of income had she built her gigs into? Maybe she had gotten up to a level where she was earning fat cash, and didn't need this guy that had outkicked his coverage.
He may have been mad that, now that "They" were earning good money, how dare she dump him?

That's not what happened. The police didn't show up at the family's home looking to speak with him. He went missing and the family called the police to help find him.
You're right, they didn't go to find him and he was missing. But it's still shady as hell.
So this was before he went missing:
quote:
The van the couple was traveling in was also found back in Florida at the boyfriend’s parents’ house. Law enforcement towed the van away to be processed as evidence.
“The Schmidt and Petito family are going through the worst moments of their lives,” the families of Petito’s mother and father said in their statement. “Their beautiful 22-year-old daughter is missing, and the one person that can help find Gabby refuses to help.”
An attorney for the boyfriend’s family released a statement Tuesday saying the family would be “remaining in the background at this juncture and will have no further comment.”
“[He] is refusing to tell Gabby’s family where he last saw her. [He] is also refusing to explain why he left Gabby all alone and drove her van to Florida,” the statement from the Petito’s family said. “These are critical questions that require immediate answers.”
It seems pretty clear that they (him or his family) weren't cooperating at that point. And that they did want to speak to him about what happened.
Fox article on press conference with her family
This is how they reported him:
quote:
"Roughly 25,000 acres. Brian’s parents have reported to us that he was last seen Tuesday when he went for a hike there," the statement continued.
"They reported him missing three days later. The North Port Police Department and the FBI are working to corroborate the story."
In update towards bottom of stream (Fox News)
So he just went for a leisurely hike while he's not cooperating with police and the family waits three days to report him as "missing"?
Nah, non of that is shady. At all.

His actions have gone way past self preservation, if she was simply missing.
He's the only hope her parents have to finding her.

Thier monetization wouldn't be at a level they were profiting, yet. Just basing this off of other off gridder and thru hike channels I've watched for the past 5 years. It takes more time than they had put into it. Some eventually are wildly successful however. Thus, the hobby/trend and lifestyle we see hundreds attempt all the time. Probably 95+% fail, though.

They had one crappy video posted on his youtube channel and it was posted 5 days after they were pulled over in Utah. It seems like a pretty safe bet that this channel wasn't booming. That one video probably has a ton of views now, though.

What actions have you so triggered?
That he drove back home in her van?
That he wont talk to the authorities?
That he left his parents house to have some space to himself?

Just trying to think outside the box and consider a different perspective based on what we know...
Have we established that we don't know if the police have even seen Brian in Florida?
Could Brian and Gabby have disappeared together/met the same fate and Brian's parents are covering it up? (For a nefarious motive or otherwise)?
Seems farfetched but the Laundrie family is acting so weird in this case and I'm trying to make sense of their position in all of this
