Because there’s no way the college-educated, middle-class white boy is just a real piece of shite, right?

Now that it's fairly clear that g-dawg is gonna spend some significant time in the slammer, any of his friends in the thread plan on making regularly scheduled visits or dropping some dollars in his commissary account so he can get some canned tuna and Pop tarts ?

$250k bond seems low for a murder charge.

There is a chance, sure.

But, how often do these cases just go 100% with only one side of the story being completely true?

This. Common sense tells us there is more to the story than the narrative the family of Red is trying to spread. The same for Ward killing the guy. He shouldn't have fought this dude unless he absolutely had to. No good can come from this scenario either way.

I wonder if he gets an added charge for a hate crime? Chances are pretty high that he killed Red only because of his race.

If he was a piece of shite, he hid it from his family and close friends for 25 years. Not saying that's impossible, but it would be very hard to do.

Lots of really good people who are really good friends with him are in complete shock at the situation.

I think it is a case of a perfect storm of him being really intoxicated, really pissed off, and a situation occurred that unfortunately set him off.

Can we have a trial first Mr. Putin?

Or if not a trial comrade, at least a word from the other side?

Honestly, if I knew I was going to be locked up for a while I would much rather it be considered a hate crime. Federal prison is much better than state prison.

any of his friends

Everybody in this thread taking up for him “knows his older brother” or “may have met him a time or 2” or “has a friend who knows him” Not many have admitted being friends with him, for whatever reason.

What are you talking about?

There are 2 people in this thread that I know personally that have claimed to be good friends with him.

Most of us are his older brother's age though, which is why more of us know him.

lol yeah. there is a chance. But I'm going to trust my instinct and what I have heard. Not what his crazy daughter was saying.

No way he gets life, right?

What is your expert opinion on the outcome of the trial? 20 years? 5 years? 50 years?

I'm sure he's going to have very good attorneys.

so you've "heard" something between now and your last post a few minutes ago when it was just "your instinct?"

You're in denial. Unless some evidence comes out of the blue that your friend was defending himself from a threat, he's fricked. No matter how you spin it.

Right, because the upper middle class white kid couldn't possibly just be a piece of shite. The lower class black man most have provoked him in some form or fashion. According to eyewitness accounts Ward attacked him for no reason, but lets just ignore the eyewitnesses and assume whatever fits the agenda to a 99% probability
