He's not my friend.
You are an absolute idiot if you believe this . . .

HE said last night that he gives it 10% chance of actually going to trial and 20 was likely the best case.

But be honest, how often do middle class, college grads, with no criminal background, who work in a professional setting, murder people unprovoked with their bare hands?

If he's indicted for 2nd degree murder and is convicted at trial, he's getting life. It's mandatory.
If he pleads, it will be manslaughter and not less than 20. Most likely 25-35. If victim's family pushes it hard, the deal will be that he'd better take 40 by motions or we're ready for trial.
And again, that's based on the facts thrown around now.

At least once apparently

Im still curious what "you've heard" in the last hour that you feel so confident about. Please enlighten us.
What reason justifies beating him to death? The onyl justification would be if Jackson attacked Ward with some weapon and there is zero evidence whatsoever thus far supporting your pipe dream.

Will his next appearance be to enter a plea?

If he was a piece of shite, he hid it from his family and close friends for 25 years. Not saying that's impossible, but it would be very hard to do.
There is no possibility at all that he could have hid sociopathic tendencies, which are also highly rewarded in certain fields, from family and friends, the people most likely to write off his behavior?

Either way, holy shite.
Just walk away, kids.

Can we have a trial first Mr. Putin? Or if not a trial comrade, at least a word from the other side?
Calling him a tPOS at this point seems pretty fair. There have been zero reports/statements that paint Ward in a positive light. There are witness statements that say the victim was walking down the street and was attacked for no apparent reason. There are hearsay stories that say Ward was involved in a physical altercation with a woman before he beat the victim to death.
As of now, Ward killed a man without provocation. He may have been a woman beater too, but it's reasonable to skeptical of that rumor. If the races were switched, LSUTangerine would be the only member here trying to wait for a trial.

He apparently used his feet too.

Nah. Not this quick. It's gonna take another month or two to indict.

Go follow the Hayes thread. Myself and many others said lets wait for more facts
Go look at the Gasser thread. In that exact thread, more people are on the murdered black persons side as well

You're in denial. Unless some evidence comes out of the blue that your friend was defending himself from a threat, he's fricked. No matter how you spin it.
But, but, its a black guy...he had to have done some black guy stuff to justify getting beaten to death.

I know he bonded out but are there any restrictions on that? House arrest?
I assume he gave up his passport.

he's repeating what people here always say when a black person commits a crime
Posted on 1/25/18 at 10:34 am to lsupride87
In fairness, if it's kosher to call him a POS, It's also OK to say "lock him up and throw away the key"
The people in this thread calling him a POS aren't saying that because he double parks. They're saying it because they believe he's a murderer.
