I can see you in HR the next day, trying to explain that you were playing Cornhole and just said "Good game" while patting Heather on the arse.

It's a large engineering firm.

We have people who walk around our trails at lunch. Some people sit outside and read at lunch.

Just trying to see where the line is.

thanks for reinforcing the stereotype of all lawyers being pricks. I'd prefer my attorney have a sense of humor and frivolity as opposed to being an intense, tight arse all the time.

Where I work they encourage us to do activities at lunch, it keeps people relax especially in stressful environment

Depends on your industry and office culture, in my opinion. I don't think it's inherently unprofessional.

unless it turns into a carnival-like atmosphere with midgets and ponies, who cares? Are they drinking while they do this? Are fights breaking out? Let the employees enjoy themselves. As long as the work gets done. You're engineers, not ER docs dealing with life and death.

When you pay me I'll care. Until then, I gotta worry about what the uptight business owners in the middle of costly and prolonged litigation think. You can damn sure count on them bringing up our firm's cornholing when they're bitching at me about a bill.

This one tech place that I've been to has slides for employees to get from one level to another.

Company my husband works for had this in their old office building. I remember coming to pick him up for lunch one day and you see this massive twisty slide in the lobby

OP...like others said...depends on the field you are in. Husband still works for that company and their current office building has foosball tables inside the office for workers to play on at lunchtime.

You're actually familiar with the tech company that I was referring to. I'm pretty sure you use their software daily.
