I was making a joke that this has nothing to do with race and even if roles were reversed, no one would see this is a race issue.
They had a previous relationship, got in an argument. He killed her then went home and shot him self.

You assume hes just labeled a sex offender and otherwise hes just a normal dude. I can assure you it takes a special type of character to become a sex offender in 99% of cases, excluding the 21 year olds dating 16 year olds type cases.
If she asked enough questions I guarantee this guy doesn't keep his story straight. She wasn't suspicious enough and lost her life over it.
Why wouldn't she ask for an ID or something to verify his age or who he is? How do you become involved with people who aren't forthcoming with their own background? It's especially shocking given the girl's promising background. She should have known better.
