This happened in the parking lot of my son's dorm. We've exchanged texts and he's fine. I'll talk to him tonight and see if he knew her, but I doubt it.

I’m guessing he was not a student there?
Granted I graduated nearly a decade ago but any person trying to date anyone or otherwise enter the inner circle of my group of friends who was not actually an enrolled student was looked at with a lot of skepticism. These people were usually sketchy at best, dangerous at worst. I’m guessing this would be even more true for student athletes.
