Since when did conservatives get so whiny and obsessed with DEI. This used to be a liberal area but now anything related to diversity brings out the snowflakes in conservatives. Roles have reversed.

What do they mean by diversity, equality and inclusion?
Just based on wanting diversity, everything on to be equal and included, it sounds like some BS talking points, but why is that a bad thing?
Unless there is their own definition of those words, for a professor doesn't that just mean you teach everyone the same shite, use the same system to grade everyone and make sure everyone in the class feels included?
As for as diversity, that's on the university, a professor can only teach the students that register for their class.

Funny that that guy is a Texas fan. That’s not exactly the most right leaning university in the land. But it’s obvious that guy never went to college.
On topic - as someone who has an undergrad and masters in the geosciences, this professor is absolutely correct about how all geology/geophysics departments are leaning now.

Wielicki stated that it was minorities that weren’t getting hired in fields related to STEM and blamed it on DEI. I simply asked for actual hiring practices in those places. Google for example was called out a few years ago for low levels of black employment. There has also been a recent lawsuit against them for discrimination against black people during the interview process and in the hiring process.
