I missed that part, but figured it had to be human error not related to parts falling off the plane

Looks like somebody was coming in hot and missed the turn to the taxiway.

not sure it sunk, but I did read some of the gear broke/collapsed.

So why did it skid? Was this a malfunction with reverse thrust or brakes? This prob has nothing to do with the aircraft itself

Landing gear failure, or failed due to running off the runway? Boeing is having a rough year. Maybe the company should again be run by engineers and pilots instead of Wall Street, lawyers and accountants!

At least in Jefferson County Airport you could watch Kendrick Perkins try to get his shoe collection back from Enterprise after his buddies got the car seized Port Arthur PD. R.I.P. Teauxlr.
