You're the dense one, pal. He was not removed because he was unruly. He had ALREADY BEEN CHOSEN TO BE REMOVED.

I would love that reasoning to be used by the opposing counsel against my client. I would eat that shite up like Kobayashi

Yes, lately we should all come to appreciate the deferential and nuanced nature with which the Airport Security team (not the police mind you!) of the Department of Transportation has always acted. They are never wrong, and questioning their methods is obviously un-American and makes us all less safe. Obviously.

There is 0.00000% chance this makes it to court.

1. United may have actually broken their policy

2. Even if they didnt, they still would get arse raped by a jury

Picked for what? Getting removed from the plane?

So your argument against the policy compliance questions raised is that they followed the policy and legally removed him due to becoming "unruly" by raising his voice when they illegally wanted to remove him

Edit: and to be clear, I used legal and illegal in terms of compliance with united policy before you try and attack that instead of addressing the actual point.

Literally an Article on Why this wouldn't happen on Delta
In fairness, unless I missed it, that article just states they'll keep offering up to the limit, which supposedly is what United did, so based on that article, I don't know why they'd suggest that couldn't happen with Delta. Again, just based on the article.

Keep slapping him to see if he changes his story.

"He was randomly picked"
"He was disruptive"

"He was disruptive because he was randomly picked!"

wait are people actually mad at the aviation police guy here? He was sipmly doing what he was told, there are a metric ton of frick ups here but I don't see how you blame that guy.

This isn't a judgment call situation. "Should or shouldn't he have pulled that guy over", or "should or shoudln't he have pulled his gun in this situation". He was told to remove that passenger and he did so. Looooots blame in this situation but I don't see why that guy should be caught in the crossfire.

He was randomly selected. That he should dare refuse to comply in that situation does not justify the use of force leveled against him.

Oh, I am well aware. I would just like that reasoning to be used in a deposition. That would be fun.

This will settle. Quickly and quietly, with some serious non-disclosure agreements.

It's mind boggling. It's always, "just do what the cop says" first, and never, "Hey, why is that cop overstepping his boundaries"

Maddening.

Jesus, policy is because the flight crew was a must fly - company policy.

And aviation attorneys have said otherwise, and yet you refuse to say that MAYBE what you just said is wrong.

I didn't even say you had to concede, just to say maybe you may not be correct.

Have you even read the policy that these aviation attorneys have read? Have you read it and think you understand it better than an aviation attorney? Honest questions...

Unruly because he didn't like he was picked.
Or unruly because United didn't follow policy?

Says the guy acting like he knows more than aviation attorneys about a policy that I doubt he's read in its entirety.

I agree. But there is a slight chance, being he is a security guard, he has alot of dumbass in him and he "roughed up the Chinamen" a little more than needed

I only saw the one main video posted yesterday adn haven't seen more. From what I recall he pulled the guy out of his seat and the guy hit his face on the other armrest on the other side of the aisle, then was dragged. Is that accurate? If that's the case he didn't use any force that wasn't needed. I mean if a guy goes dead weight and won't even stand up there's only so many ways you can get him off the plane.

I'm not mad at the police guy. I'm more annoyed the deference, or that the doctor's reaction was somehow unreasonable, considering it was United's frick up that they allowed people to board and then told random people they had to go. It should never have gotten to that situation.

From what I can tell, there's a cap on it and that's where it had to stop, or something.

The article I was talking about that the dude linked, I think it stopped at $800 as well.
