I know it's a message board and people defend the wrong side just because.
The fact is every last one if you defending United would be pissed as frick and would have stated a thread bitching your asses off, had this happened to you.

United deserves what it gets. Horrible handling by their Chicago reps.
Afraid to lose thousands, it will cost them millions.

What would have happened to his luggage if he checked his bag? It would take forever for them to find that exact piece.
