United is a shitty airline but they're not wrong here.

All you have to do is be better than American. Delta isn't as good as everything thinks they are, either.

Carnival Cruise Line did the same thing. Every pool deck previously had 4 or 5 dee jays bumpin' their own music on bluetooth speakers.

Now if there was a way to keep the bluetooth speakers off hiking trails. Been a few times we've been hiking only to hear autotuned mumble rap heading our way. And it was the usual suspects. Its like they can't stand a few moments of silence.

They're the best choice flying out of Houston and it keeps you out of the slums of Terminal A.

Delta has definitely gone downhill. The only reason I still occasional fly them is because I like connecting through ATL.

I cannot imagine flying without my noise-cancelling headphones. As soon as I get on the plane, they go on.

Wouldn't imagine this needed to be implemented in a civil society.

Might as well give us an update on how Hogwarts is handling this issue too because I’m as likely to be in one of those places as the other.

Twice this week, once at the oil change waiting room and once at the sandwich shop, retards played videos with no headphones. This is equivalent to camping in the left lane. So obnoxious

Definitely a shock to need this. I always have mine in before takeoff, so if this is an issue I guess i wouldn't notice.

You know nothing about me, nor my children. I am providing real analysis of the described situation. Should these kids be doing that? No. But they’re kids. They’re going to do things that adults don’t consider normal sometimes because they’re kids. What do you expect their parents to do? Beat their kids arse on the plane when their ears start hurting instead of trying to distract them with an iPad?

What isn’t normal, and should not be tolerated, is basketball Americans using the speakers of their phones to broadcast to the rest of us whatever they’re listening to.

So in an airplane your children have been sitting for five hours straight and they begin to get bored and uneasy. You are going to do what? Beat them?

It's understandable that the kids would do it; it's not understandable that the parents allow it.

So again this begs the question as to what you’re going to do with a toddler that’s been sitting for five hours on a plane and is getting restless. You see the signs that the kid is on the brink of a tantrum due to lack of sleep/entertainment to distract them. What do you do? Take them to the back of the plane and their arse?

Either get them to wear headphones, or the kid has a tantrum. At least we’ve had five hours of quiet. Your alternative is that we’ve all been listening to the kid’s iPad for five hours.

Of course that’s the ideal situation. But if they don’t wear the headphones you’re saying it would be better in a confined place like a plane to let a tantrum occur?

Does your kid have enough juice in the tank to throw a tantrum for five hours?

Because again, our alternative scenario is that every child on the plane is blasting noise from their devices for the entire 5+ hours.

Or, and try to keep up and hear me out, turn the fricking sound off. This isn’t difficult.
