Don't exactly understand what you're describing... as other's have questioned already doesn't make sense for me to do that same. I have nothing against an early beer, but I do personally limit myself to drinking with joy and not as a way to cope with frustration or challenges. Hope it works out for you.

Is what it is I am coming back down to reality. Off to Lowes to pick up some drywall screws and put some temporary patches on this shitshow. Halloween stuff will have to wait.

That doesn’t make sense. You had to have had boxes and shite directly on the drywall for it to collapse like that.

Most don’t realize that even if you put plywood on the ceiling joists, they really weren’t engineered to store all of your accumulated shite.

OT is a bunch of puritans with former drinking problems now. A bunch of people who can't handle only drinking a beer or two and had to get wasted every time they drink. Projecting their problem on to those of us who can drink in moderation.

Whelp I am off work til Friday and today was the day to pull all of my halloween animatronics and halloween stuff out of the attic. Get in the attic and start moving shite around I am working through Christmas stuff and then I see the drywall buckle. I stop while walking on the ceiling joints then BOOM POW BOOM my entire attic drywall
floor/ceiling falls about half my shite in storage hits the garage floor. After the dust settles I walk back to the ladder climb down from the attic shut the garage and it's time for alcohol. My day and week just fricking changed. Just Smh and forming plan B now. Anyone had unexpected situations come up and how did you do with handling it? I got a little time right now to listen

I just sit and think the problem out. Develop a course of action.

Be glad that it was your garage and not your living room.

Yeah, take a minute to process the problem. It will save you hours later.

This was my exact thought. Heck, if it’s the garage I’d give it a go trying to learn how to do drywall fix it myself, although it being the ceiling sucks.

Yes it does. He said he had plywood sheets, but not enough.

So yeah, he started stacking stuff directly on top of the sheetrock.

Exactly. Who gives a frick what the outcome looks like? It's a garage.
