Now that F-150's are Mexican vehicles, are they going to have to switch them to the right, even though the steering wheel will remain left?
My American made Tundra has both on the left.

Eta: Whassamatter downvote queers? That $1200 payment for 84 months for a Mexican truck got you down?

Maybe your boyfriends will throw in a couple bucks.

If something is flammable it means it can be set fire to, such as a piece of wood. However, inflammable means that a substance is capabble of bursting into flames without the need for any ignition.
My mind has officially been blown for the day. I thought flammable and inflammable were the antithesis of one another.
inflammable means to cause to catch fire.
flammable means to be able to catch fire.
since we are all now familiar with intubate after covid...
tubate is "in the shape of a tube"
intubate is to shove that tube down someone's pie hole.

Many people put kitty litter on driveway oil stains which is fine. However, if you take a 2x4 and rub it across and into the stain, it will magically remove it quicker than you can bat an eye.
Also, if you've got a plugged ear (eustachian tube) while flying, only "pop" (hold your nose and pressure up your sinuses) your ears if the discomfort is while the plane is descending. Likewise, you can pull suction for relief if your ears hurt while the aircraft is ascending. Also, don't mix those two up or you will pay the price.

I'm tasked with the weekly safety meeting presentation offshore this week and I'll be covering that story.

If you spill wax on carpet, take a paper grocery sack and cover wax. Then take an iron and heat paper while pulling paper out from under iron.

If you have a pan that will require a lot of scrubbing, put it in the sink with warm water and a used dryer sheet. After a few minutes it will rinse clean.

Put it on the stove on high with about 1/4-1/2” of water in it. Let water come to a boil for a minute and scrape with a flat spatula.

"Flushable" wipes are really NOT flushable and wreak havoc on your wastewater system - whether your house is tied on to the city's wastewater system (sewer) or have a septic tank. Flushable wipes do not disintegrate like TP and will catch on any offset or jagged edge in your service line or city sewer line, then slowly gather more and more until you have a massive, expensive stop-up.
This is also true for any grease you may pour down the drain. You might think it's harmless, but once it hits the colder water in the sewer lines or your homes' service line, it solidifies into a white, thick, hard substance like gooey chalk. This slowly gathers on your private service line running from your home to your city's sewer system or to your septic tank, causing a stop up. Enough grease from multiple homes poured into the city's sewer system can clog the entire neighborhood or group of houses as well.
Now put the two together (wipes and grease) and all it takes is one wipe getting hung on a jagged edge in your service line or city sewer line and it'll stay there forever gathering more wipes and grease, until the whole wastewater system for that house or neighborhood is stopped up.

You should wait to drink coffee in the morning. The reason it makes you feel better and also causes a crash is because it acts as a cortisol inhibitor. Give it around 45min to an hour in the morning, and your body will absorb all the cortisol. Then, coffee will have the caffeine effect you are looking for to boost your day.
Caffeine doesn't inhibit cortisol. It is a adenosine receptor antagonist. I literally heard this same spiel from some Dr. Andrew person on insta the other day. But it was adenosine. A different molecule.

I remember about 10 years ago a similar freak accident killed a tow truck driver near Baton Rouge. For some reason I want to say it happened near St Gabriel.
He was hooking up a vehicle and the cable broke and killed him.

i'm sure it happened, but the thing that guy and i are talking about is some meme floating around that shows, supposedly, a guy who died in a truck when the tow rope broke
thing is, there is NO blood anywhere in that truck, from the photos provided; NOT A DROP;
i'm one of those bastard media people, and i've covered fatal vehicle crashes for 30 years; there is always blood; quite a bit;
so, no, i don't buy that meme at all
