Don't forget the thinning hair.

Worth it. I look sexy bald, if I were skinnier.

It was the 00's and the FDA never approved rimonabant in the first place.
Looks like my age is starting to show. I was thinking it was much earlier and got the widespread approvals they were seeking. For a month or so there was a new article daily just about daily about another country being applied to or another trial in yet another. (the EU covered 25 countries)
I know that in the Bush administration there was an anti drug push, mainly pot of course, by AG Ashcroft who advocated research into chemically blocking intoxication. (the same nutcase that covered the statue of Justice in the briefing room due to nudity)
Who would think that blocking the receptors for the world’s first known non protein hormone with the knowledge that the receptors are located throughout the body would cause a problem? 5 dead in the studies (although 1 was from gunshot they couldn’t be sure it’s suicide as he was in witness protection too)

It would likely work just as well as the various weight loss drugs at a fraction of the price and while the health implications are there, we don't know the long term effects of these other drugs.
When it's all said and done it's a matter of pick your poison.

I think for a lot of people it's just an oral fixation. This is why people who quit smoking tend to gain weight. They replace cigarettes with snacking.
Also comes from actually being able to taste food again.

Why has nobody tried to make a diet pill based off dnp? Why not hook the molecule to an amino acid that has a bond that has to be metabolized by the liver to release the active ingredient like vyvanse?

Cigarettes don’t cause cancer
The government spread that myth because cigarettes raise testosterone

You are probably right. (I know you’re kidding.)
The thing is: life expectancy hasn’t drastically improved since the 90s. People seem to die around 80 on average no matter what medical science does. If anything, younger people are getting diagnosed with cancer than in the past.

because the side effects of uncoupling agents is death if you take too much and with the extreme long half life, it is easy for people to over do it as its not a set amount, it depends on frequency, hydration levels, temperature the person is in(i.e. if its hot outside easier to cook your insides) etc etc
ramping the metabolism more than 8-10% is prolly not a good idea in the long run.
