Hitler was a megalomaniac guilty of causing a genocide on a scale only a small handful of others in history have been able to do.
As for the books being burned by Nazis in the infamous footage we’ve all seen, the majority of those books were from an entity named “ Institut für Sexualwissenschaft”, which translates to “ Institute for Sexual Science” that was founded in 1919. This “institute” promoted both homosexual and cross-dressing fetishism.

Because German conservatives were deeply skeptical of the liberal democratic project and would rather Hitler continue the Imperial ambitions of Imperialist Germany than to power share with the socialists.
German expansionism predates Hitler and factions within Germany made a calculated choice to see out those ambitions. There is no other reason.

Yes you are correct Hitler didn't like the Gypsies either. He also had a profound fondness for killing Catholics as well. He sentenced thousands of Catholic priests to death, closed down Catholic schools, monasteries, and convents before the signing of the Reichskonkordat in 1933. The Nazi's also were not particularly found of Protestants, Jehovahs Witnesses, Eastern Orthodox Christians, Seventh Day adventists, and Baha'i as all of those religions were also on his kill list.

You apparently misread my post. I say that because I never said the books Burt at the Institut für Sexualwissenschaft were the only ones the Nazis burned. The film footage we always see when it comes to burning books, was taken outside of it and the books being burned that night came from its library.
