The Shreveport GM baws were doing very well. Very, very well. You had to know someone to get hired on there.

That plant would still be there if they weren't so greedy.

So perhaps it’s no wonder that GM subsidiary Chevy manufactures several of its popular vehicles in Mexico. These include:

BMW has laid the blueprint. Wildly successful in South Carolina.

The selected plants produce highly profitable vehicles for the automakers that largely continue to be in high-demand.

These 3 companies have the highest ammount of overstock and inventory of all the manufactures. Demand has not kept up with supply for GM, Ford, and Jeep

OT generally pro-worker unless they're a member of a union in a multi-billion dollar industry. Nice to know.

Aren’t there some federal protections that block this sort of activity?

I took a labor relations class at LSU and I vaguely remember the professor saying it is legally difficult for employers to eliminate jobs and relocate during a strike

it’s really not though

Whenever a strike is coming up or an article is posted about some sort of labor dispute, the general tone is stfu and take your $20/hour, should have been an engineer, accountant, or welder, etc. The fact is wages have not kept up with COL and we still need teachers, mid level office workers, laborers, cops, etc.

And no, I don’t support $20 for fast food workers or whatever someone will reply to this with.

Fixed it for you.
If these folks want to be taken halfway seriously, take the pension demand and 32 hour work week and shove it up their asses. Then we can discuss a sensible pay raise.
