I think the high child support payments are more to keep the child/children in a similar environment while at either household.
I don't agree with it.
But, a child at some point will be able to tell the difference between a father living in a 6 bedroom, cliffside mansion and their mother living in a 1 bedroom apartment in North Hollywood.

Like I said, generally speaking, I also think the child should have a pretty nice life set up for him if the one parent is filthy rich, that seems fair.
I don't, however, agree with alimony payments or whatever they're called where an ex-wife with no kids gets a ton of money, that's BS.

I'm not sure how $36k a year supplementary income on top of the divorce settlement and whatever her yearly earnings are can be interpreted as anything other than "comfortable" but I grant subjective perspectives may differ.

Not quite inaccurate. I mis-spoke. Not a shout out to him but Hollywood Cole is what J Cole thought Andre said thus sampled the song.
His rep asked to sample it and Outkast's rep said sure but he explained to him it was NOT Hollywood Cole. He went with it anyway.
Sorry for that mistake. It's been a few years since I learned of this miscue as well.
Fact is J Cole samples the misheard lyric from Outkast. And obviously Drake misheard it too
