Stop signs and red lights don't mean shite.

That's why I drive thru the hood. As far as the loafers go, they look, and if they see something they don't like, I've found they find another gear.

During the hours when schools are in session, it is impossible to guess whether or not that is an official school holiday because there are so many school aged kids hanging out.

They can't possibly have three holidays each week.

I see this a lot around town. Makes me cringe.

How old are you? I used to ride the hump and never died.

Walking down the center of the road

Going through a construction site Monday, I saw a fella get mirror checked because he was doing this. Then had the nerve to get pissed at the driver, but the driver politely informed him that he shouldn't be walking down the middle of the f'ing street. I know that shite hurt, it was a F350 dually with the massive paddle mirrors...he's damn lucky that rear tire didn't catch him.

GF threatened to not ride with me if I ever did that again. Good memories.

Yeah, I've seen the cattle people do that. The suicide lane turns into a sidewalk for them.

The first and the 15th of each month are my favorite times to drive through the ghetto. It’s better than six flags.

I drive the hood too.

Black people have a good time, is what I’ve noticed.

I've never seen little black kids in a car seat.
Usually you'll find them on back dash or the floorboard.

Lackadaisical jaywalking. As in, I’m going to cross the street at a random spot (not a redlight or a stop sign) and walk as slow as possible across the street, almost hoping to get hit by a car. If anyone gets anywhere close to hitting me, I will mean mug them.

Yep and it starts at least as early as middle school.

Armchair psychiatrist says this is a person with no real power inconveniencing you to feel some measure of power and control.

Why? I have found that in such environments, that when the culcha type enlightened citizens occupy the middle of the street and look at you driving, if you stomp on the gas instead of the brake they scatter like cockroaches. It is helpful to society as well, since it probably allows these citizens to get a little bit of exercise.

What car manufacturer makes the hood? Never heard of this vehicle before. Are you sure you didn't drive through the hood?

I can take two routes into my work downtown, one way is longer and goes through a nicer older neighborhood and the other is shorter through a less desirable part of town.

The appalling level of driving that goes on if I take the route through the hood never ceases to amaze me. People drive slow, erratically, no blinkers, sudden stops, dudes running across 4 lane roads with cars coming at them both directions, etc. I choose to take the longer route for my own sanity and safety.

ETA: not in Louisiana
