The US European Command slammed Russia for the incident that "could cause serious injury or death," yesterday evening.
Shocking footage captured the moment Russian fighter jets conducting simulated attacks on a US Navy ship in the Baltic Sea on Wednesday.
The two Russian SU-24 jets can be seen repeatedly swooping just 30ft from the boat as sailor's jaws dropped in horror.
It was the first of two "unsafe and unprofessional" close interactions this week, military officials said.

I was listening to this story on the radio this morning. I really expected Darth to have this thread started by the time I got to work.

That's odd; I opened a Darth thread it doesn't show that he's posted yet.

Did the US ship 'accidentally' veer off course into areas it's not supposed to be in?

Redrifle is a pretty good pilot

The USS Donald Cook (DDG-75) was conducting flight operations with a Polish helicopter Monday when two Russian Su-24 attack aircraft approached at an “unsafe” speed and altitude and buzzed the Navy destroyer as the helicopter was taking off from the destroyer’s flight deck, the defense official told Fox News.
The United States and Russia have an agreement that dates back to 1972 that is supposed to prevent this type of behavior, according to the defense official. Turkey shot down a Russian jet of the same type in late-2015 after the aircraft entered Turkish airspace.
Don't play chicken with Turkey

I didn't include it, but the original link I posted:

Who really wants to start a hot war with Russia over shenanigans?
They're the main ones hitting ISIS in the nose right now.
All this is is posturing due to weak leadership and idiot politicians.
Russia may not be our friend, but the true enemy of all Christendom and the western world is radical Islam right now.

From Live Leak
A pair of unarmed Russian SU-24’s then “conducted a series of low passes over the ships, came within 1,000 yards and within 100 feet of altitude," the official said, noting that the aircraft eventually conducted twenty passes over the destroyer.
