Unfortunately we have a council full of pussies that wouldn’t even vote on it.

I don’t care if they have it or not but take a side, that’s what you’re there for

By all means let the trannys interact with children. Sounds like a great idea.

Then we can't let men interact with children either, too many pedos.

Just leave the kids alone, no one interact with the children!!

They can be who they want to be. Though I consider it a mental illness and will explain it to my kids as such.

Two of my friends are going to be reading.

they're dressing up as the characters in the books and reading them to children.

people are using this to vent their "Christian" outrage.

I would be more worried if it were priest doing it as opposed to them.

being gay =/= being a pedophile with an agenda.

I don't have a problem with it as long as it's not at a school with mandatory attendance for the students. It's optional.

Drag Queens are fictional characters at the end of the day. Someone dressing up and pretending to be someone he/she isn't. As long as the subject matter and presentation is appropriate for the age group, I see no difference in a Drag Queen doing this than a woman dressing up as Old Mother Hubbard, or another fictional character.

It’s a public facility. No one is being forced to attend. It’s no different than if David Duke decided to have a KKK read along at the public library. Just don’t take your kids.

What decent parent wouldn't want a degenerate, diseased, demonically dressed drag queen reading "My Two Daddies" to their children?

What are you? Some kind of bigot?

Any link to the purpose of this national effort to read shite to toddlers? Do they even have a stated, bullshite goal that you can point me to?

"Christian" outrage.
I can honestly say that's an emotion I have never experienced.

That's not a fricking argument. It's whataboutism. We've had child abusing priests, especially here in Lafayette. Guess what.
It didn't make us more tolerant of child abuse. It made is way less tolerant of it.

Doesn’t matter. Secular humanism is as much a belief system as any religion. Government can’t favor one over another. If a Catholic Priest or Baptist minister can’t read religious material to kids at the library, neither can a mixed up fig read homo pro literature.

you just cant logically link men dressing up as story book characters as child abuse. that's whataboutism.

and why are they doing it?

maybe they just want to read story books to children because a lot of kids grow up with out the attention they deserve? why does there have to be some hidden message to everything?

I don’t want my kids around anyone who doesn’t have the judgement to determine what sex they are and what sex they were designed to persue.

Let’s face it, if they can’t get the most basic concepts correct, what exactly can they be trusted with, and what do they have to offer?

Alright, I got a question.

We live in Louisiana. Off the top of my head, We have the Red Dress Run and we have Spanish Town Parade before we get in to any of the Lola(lala) stuff.

Dudes are partying in dresses for those.

Whats the actual indoctrination here?

That is correct in my experience, although I don’t know many drag queens. The one I do know, who lives in New Orleans, uses a different name when he dresses up, and speaks about his drag self as another person. I’ve heard him say things like, “Danielle might just have to go to that.”

Now they're just dressing up as the characters?

Why is there a national effort to do this? You never answered that.

They can. They reserve a room just like the drag queens and have an event.

I'm gay, so I know (or I'm at least familiar with many), and this is true. They are totally separate "people." Many have separate facebook, emails, IGs, etc. for their drag personas.
