Her man looks like he's got a man bun and neck tats or that's an older kid from her first baby daddy, picture is too blurry to tell.

Who tf sreals a car with little kids in it??
That’s what I’m wondering. I get it that mom made a mistake by leaving kiddos in an unattended car, but let’s not gloss over the fact that Ms. Meth was stupid enough to steal it.

If I’m being honest, I left my kids in the car a few times. Never at midnight, but when 2 of 3 were in car seats, I left the car running, locked them in, and ran into Dollar General for a loaf of bread. Helluva lot faster than getting them all out, herding them through a store, and then loading everyone back up.

Midnight and parts of town matter for this context, because if not, 95% of parents in the 90s are pieces of shite

Although it's just a common as a road beer, smoking in the car with kids, or holdin the baby 'cause we ain't had a car seat - It's still illegal in this state.

Tangipahoa trash moved to Lafourche and then arrested in Livingston. Living the American dream. Surprised she wasn't part of the Dennis Perkins cult.

I thought the same thing. In those days you could pull up to the pump and just start pumping gas and then go pay your total inside after you were done. I'd always just wait in the car when mom went in to pay.

Presumably the six year old had school the next morning. Those kids should be in bed. I see kids out with parents late like this all the time when I’m out. Wtf is wrong with people?

The mother, Jameka Fields, 31, of Denham Springs, called Denham Springs Police just before midnight on Aug. 26, 2024 to the Circle K on South Range Ave. near Bass Pro Blvd

Guess is that the kids were sleeping in the back seat and the mom didn't want to wake them up and drag them inside just to grab something quick. One of those things that is technically illegal, but not overly endangering of the kids (especially if the car was running with the AC on) depending on the area and how long she was gone for.

I'm saddened by the pre-meth v. post-meth pictures. Meth is so damn destructive.

I didn’t know it was illegal to leave your kids in the car for 2 minutes.

It's 10 minutes, so plenty of time for you to get your White Monster drink, pack of BC powder, Ranch flavored sunflower seeds, and pack of Pall Mall unfiltered.

Taking a 6 and 4 year old to Circle K at midnight on a Monday night tells us a lot about this person's qualifications as a parent.

Those kids don't stand a chance.
